Yasawas

The islands seem to have been taking a bashing on these pages recently but hey, I've booked already

Well, booked one of the yellow boat passes anyway.
I have also booked some time at Coral View for 5 days at the start.
My girlfriend and I are spoiled with 3 weeks on the islands.

Which other destinations and backpackers would you recommend?
We're not really the drinking partying crowd so should we head further north?

Nice beaches with snorkelling (/diving) would suit perfectly.
We are looking at the lower end of the budget I guess

Any suggestions greatfully recieved!

To the East of Viti Levu you find two beautiful small Islands: Leleuvia and Caqalai. Both are Backpacker style, 20 minutes to walk around, nice white sandy beach and fantastic snorkeling. Caqalai represents more the village style, whereas Leleuvia is more the resort style. Leleuvia costs F$ 50 , Caqalai F$ 48 both per person in Bure including the meals.
Boat transfer is F$ 30 one way. The expressbus from Nadi needs around 4 hours to Suva, from Suva it's 1.5 hours travellin timeg to the boat landing, and another 45 minutes with the boat to one of the Islands.
Sounds like a lot of travel, but see it as sightseeing tour and you enjoy it.
