Guam Taxis

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Guam

I posted previously about a 6-hour layover I have in Guam. Some have recommended a taxi to see a site or two, but others have said taxis on Guam are "exorbitant." I am not sure exactly what this means. I don't really want to rent a car if possible. Any idea how much it would cost to take a taxi to and from the national historic park? Many thanks for any info.

I asked this question, but having returned from my trip, wanted to follow up in case others have a similar question. I found Guam Shuttle Services and had Ron Batimama arrange a tour. Ron was also my driver and guide.

I expressed an interest in WWII sites. Even though it was evening and not optimal time, he took me around to a number of interesting sites that I could still visit. He was a great guide, full of interesting info. I would not hesitate to recommend his services if you have some time to spend on Guam. He's not cheap but well worth it.

I have the same question as MLM192. How much would a taxi cost for 3-4 hours around Guam?

Thanks
