Tamuning plaza hotel is probably the cheapest place to stay,$55,but it's a bit grubby & too far from any-where.The restaurant is now a karaoke bar,but they do offer free airport pick-up.
Better is Capitol hotel in Tamuning (walk up the side street between McDonalds & DFS),$72,A/C,fridge,bathroom,TV & balcony facing the sea (get a 9th floor room).There's a small pool,but no airport pick-up.
It's a 1 hour walk from airport to Tamuning,taxis charge $15 - 20.
The shopping buses run between GPO (Guam Premier Outlets,not the post office) & K-mart,$2.Get off at airport road & it's a 10 minute walk to airport.Getting on at airport road is difficult as there's no actual bus stop & drivers are loath to stop.
