Are there direct flights from the Marshall Islands to Kiribati vv. Some websites say yes, but I have the impression that they haven't been updated since decades.
The Our Airline flight leg from Kiribati to Marshalls appears to have been discontinued. | 1
Every once in a while some startup airline tries to take on a piece of Micronesia. I never saw this one, but it is likely no. | 2

Rob, that link was taken over by Air Nauru (now "Our Airline") years ago. | 4
Ah the joys of trying to fly around the Pacific. One begins to see the benefits of sailing. | 5

Thank you, bendigo for the hint! On the fare schedule of Air Marshall Islands only destinations within that country are mentioned, therefore I suppose that they don't fly to Kiribati (any more/currently). | 7
Air Marshall did run a small Dornier 228 aircraft 3 times a week MAJ - TRW long before Our Airline/Air Nauru ceased that route. I find it hard to imagine that this link isn't being flown these days. The problem in the Pacific is independent nations want their own airline. The mess in the Solomons is a recent and good example of how pear shaped this can become. For the record, the name 'Our Airline' was invented by a Nauruan pilot when 'Air Nauru' had to go due legalities and that theory being that Pacific nations would embrace a one airline agreement. | 8
Our Airline does not fly at present. However when we were on Kiribati in March 09, despite their website and all other information, there was an Air Marshall flight for Majuro. It was a Thursday, but no idea on frequency or cost, but worth asking around. I have a photo just to remind myself I did see it! | 9
I called up Air Marshall Islands this week at their HQ in Majuro (their Web site having been down for a long time). Apparently they do fly this trip every other Thursday, as confirmed by http://www.flightstats.com/. O/W seems to be around USD 330. Now, as it seems difficult to actually purchase a ticket ahead of time from outside the area (?), this leaves open the possibility to get stranded on either end for a long ime due to scarcity of seats (?), and also it does not solve the issue of having to have a (return) ticket leaving (either) country before arriving there in the first place.... | 10
This is rather funny- the thread has been going on for 3 1/2 years and nothing that has been said over the years is anything but still correct! | 11
Kiribati is a place where changes take a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time to come... :-) | 12
Some more recent (March 2012) details, having just bought a ticket for a work trip. Air Marshall Islands does scheduled flights every 2 weeks Majuro to Tarawa CW117 returning the same day. The next scheduled flight is Monday 19th of March at 5am, and return CW118 departs Tarawa at 10am, and then April 2nd 2012 etc.. Current price is USD$330 if ticket bought in Marshall Islands. The email address Air Marshall Islands gave me on the phone is amisales@nta.net, but I also had found amisales@ntamar.net which to me seems more correct based on other Marshall Islands emails, but I received no reply from either yet. The phone number I reached them on is +692 625-3733. Lily was very helpful, so would suggest just calling them. Our Airline (former Air Nauru) just restarted (March 5th 2012) weekly flights to Tarawa from Nadi. Not sure how long it will last. It is good in that Air Pacific has now reduced fares a bit, when in the absence of competition it went up to almost $1600 one way. If I have any issues with the travel I'll do another post when I get back Edited by: pashraro | 13
Good luck with your trip... I myself had a ticket (see above), but Air Marshall Islands decided at the last moment to switch their flight from one week to the other (they fly every two weeks, as you mention), so I ended up not taking the flight. And no, I never got a refund... | 14
