I'm thinking of flying into Tonga or Samoa or Vanuatu, and then onto Kiribati.

just got back form Kiribati the other week flying "Our Airline" (the old Air nauru) via Honiara and Nauru from Brisbane. The only other option is Air Pacific from nadi in fiji. Both of these flights arrive and leave fly tuesdays and fridays.
sadly you wont get a flight frm any other countries in the pacific at present. Our Airline used to fly onto Marshall Islands but no longer and that wouldnt help your cause anyway unless coming from guam?

| troodon15:56 UTC04 Sep 2007 | Air Nauru (aka Our Airline), Air Pacific, and Air Marshall Islands are the only airlines I know of that service Tarawa. The places you can get to Tawara from directly are basically Nauru, Nadi, and Maputo... from elsewhere have to connect to one of these three places to get there.
Best bet would be to get from Tonga to Fiji and go from there. Air Pacific might have such a flight I think.
