Flametree is still the place to stay.Isaac the Fijian receptionist/pastor will look after you.Fan room=$35,A/C room=$45 (should be able to get $10 off),dorm=$15.Food's fairly good & beer's cheap,355ml Bud=$2.50 ($2 from 5 - 8 PM).
NTA has the cheapest I-net,but even that is 8c per minute.
There are 4 mini-buses that run,Mon - Sat,from RRE,past the airport & on to Laura,90 minutes,$2 or 2.50.Laura's getting a bit rundown so it's free entry & not really worth the 3 hour round trip.
Eneko island is reached by RREs' boat,$20 return.The cottages cost $35 per person & are a nice place to get away from life for 2 or 3 days.There's a kitchen with pots & pans & a stove,fresh water showers & solar powered electricity,but no fridge.Good beach & snorkelling,especially after D-U-D where you can hardly get to the coast.Bring all the beer & food you need.The island's changing,though,as an apartment block is being built.
