Diving in Micronesia

Hi

I live in the UK and want to go to Micronesia diving. I am particularly interested in Palau as I have heard the diving here is fantastic, but have a few questions:

Can anyone suggest some good liveaboards for this area?
Would I be right in thinking February is a good time to go if I want to see big fish?
Is 10 days on the liveaboard about the right length of time?
Should I stick with Palau for the trip or are there other dive sites I should incorporate?
What sort of prices am I likely to have to pay from the UK (flights+liveaboard).

Any info appreciated.

Thanks

Sarah

Anytime is good for big fish. Close by there is Yap where you are pretty much guarenteed to see manta's. Anyplace else is quite a hike. As far as liveaboards- I lived there so don't know. But I would check dive magazines and websites as often the combined trip (airfare, liveaboard, and diving) is a LOT cheaper than pulling it together for yourself. The diving is indeed fantastic- and the water warm as bathwater and clear. You should also check the diving board to see what they have to say.
