Hotel / Meal Costs in FSM?

I am doing a little research on costs of budget accommodations and cheap meals in micronesia. anyone have any thoughts on what i could get away with paying for a cheap hotels and 3 inexpensive meals?
ideas would be greatly appreciated

Obviously it depends what part of Micronesia you're in. When I was on Yap main island I camped on a beach for US$5 per night. Hotels are WAY more expensive although I know of a beach hut you can rent for US$35 per night. In Colonia, the capital of Yap, you can get a huge, tasty meal in a restaurant for US$5 as well. In the Outer Islands I never paid for food or accommodation, just bought a big bag of food, betel nut and cigarettes with me and shared them around.

Note that this month, lari asked exactly the same about Iraq, Madagascar, the Cleptocratic Republic of Kongo, Libya, Serbia and Gibraltar ......
