Nan Madol is easy to visit.1st visit the visitors bureau & get a map of Pohnpei,$1 (another $1 gets you a leaflet about Nan M.) ,then rent a car,$45.Drive 2 hours down the East coast (turn off main road just after Kepirohi waterfall - $3 entry -,opposite an ice plant).Pay $4 parking/entry fee (plus $3 if you want a local kid to act as your guide.Not neccessary) & walk along a coral path with new wooden bridges for 10 mins.You arrive at a 3 metre wide channel,on the other side is Nan Douwas.Channel is knee to chest deep.
