| kunjun11:58 UTC02 Apr 2008 | Hi All, I have a few questions. We are booked to go to micronesia including palau in august. From what i understand the continental micronesia island hopping ticket includes Palau (ROR) but i want to be certain? My next questions if we have chose a good choice of islands and which order is best to do them, does continental stop at each one or are there direct flights, for example can i fly from gaum direct to kosarae and then go back to yap and then palau and back to gaum? or alternatively what would be a better order? We plan to do the following 1. palau 4 night live aboard 2. yap 4 or 5 nights 3. kosarae 4 nights (was not sure if to go to phonepei instead but kosarae sounds more gorgeous any opinions?????) MANY THANKS for any help and advice you can offer. thanks :)

Continental would lose a fortune by taking you from Guam way out east to Kosrae, then back west via Guam to Yap. The island-hopping route does include Palau, but you may have to pay extra to add it on.

Kosrae is the first and an absolute must see. I went there last september, it is great. Via Ponpei and chuuck you get to guam and from guam you can go to Palau. From Guam to palau is a direct fight and back to guam it stops on Yap. So going to Yap means flying via Palau. I got a ticket starting in Hawaii and flying all the way to tokyo. The best price you get is if you include it in a round the world ticket. Buying the tickets seperate is very expensive.
have fun
