Aircalin reliability & NC/WallisCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / New Caledonia
I am considering flying Air Calin on the Friday weekly flight between Tahiti and Noumea while on my Pacific island hopping journey. I am worried that if the flight is cancelled or delayed for any reason, I might miss my subsequent connecting flights. I wonder if Air Calin is a reliable airline and whether it has a record of punctuality or delay... not so worried about any delay for 24 hours, but concerned about multiple day delays that I hear small Pacific airlines are capable of. I am also considering flying Air Calin from Noumea to Wallis and then somehow making my way to Fiji. Does anyone know if the Wallis-Noumea flight stops over in Fiji? Is there any Wallis-Fiji flight, or flight between Wallis with any place apart from Noumea? Thanks.
AirCailin is an excellent airline - new craft, well maiitained. It ios owned/operated by Air France. | 1
I checked the flights going in and out of Wallis on skyscanner.com and they show Wallis-Nadi flights with Air Calin. I can also vouch for Air Calin we used them for several flights and found them to be very good - no problems with schedule other than a few minutes delay once. | 2
