Betico to Ouvea

Hello all,

Does anyone know if it is still possible to get from Lifou to Ouvea aboard the Betico? Lots of conflicting information on the web and hard to tell which sources are reliable... While I'm at it, does anyone know where I can find the ferry's schedule?

Hi, interisland connexions do exist on certain days but are not reliable (most of the time cancelled due to insufficient passengers)

I suggest you go back to Noumea

Keep also in mind that it takes approximately 6/7 hours to reach any loyalty island from Noumea by boat, grab a plane ticket instead.
