Thanx for the info, had thought of going there in a few weeks now will reconsider. I have had Ross River Fever which is horrible but heard Dengue is worse.

Thanks for the posting. I'm thinking of a mid-October trip to NC (Noumea and possibly Loyalty Islands) with two small children. Any advice on how serious a risk dengue might be at that time in those places?

I don't know if Dengue is seasonal or not, but this report here mentions the rainy season and in New Caledonia the rainy season is November to March.
