| tropicgirl06:00 UTC31 Oct 2007 | Hi Cortina,
It is about one hour's drive between the two and you need to be at Magenta domestic airport at least 30 minutes before the flight to IDP leaves.
Whilst Tontouta airport is small, there are few officials to stamp your passport so the queue is generally long. Additionally you are coming from Tokyo which will definitely mean long queues as New Caledonia is popular with the Japanese.
Is there any way you can change it to a later flight?
Tropicgirl
P.S. My husband and I LOVE Italy. It is such a magnificent country.

| mandja06:13 UTC31 Oct 2007 | Cortina, this is a disaster. You'll need at least an hour to clear customs, get your bags and jump in a cab.
As tropicgirl says, youll need an hour (at LEAST) to get to the domestic airport, which is at least 15 mins on the other side of the city to the International airport.

| sergeyu11:54 UTC10 Nov 2007 | actually guys on IDP told me that schedule from Magenta airport is construed in the way not to allow same morninmg connection from any international flight, so to promote people to stay overnight in Noumea - I havbe resolved issue by hiring day room in Le Meridien Noumea, and yes, leaving to IDP with afternoon flight.
