GR1 Hiking Trail

Hi,
Me and my partner are planning on doing the GR1 track on our trip to NC but the website that is recommended is either broken/moved/etc and we can't actually find any good information about the trail (maps, water sources, etc.)

Has there been a new website created or another way we could get hold of that information?

If you can bear to wait till you get there, a great, detailed little booklet to the trail, complete with good maps of its sections, is (or at least was during my visit) available in Noumea.
Of course in French only, but even without speaking that language, it seemed clear enough to help one through.
