Kayak Hire, New Caledonia

Could I please get some advice on where to rent kayaks in New Caledonia? I have been in touch with Tamarillo and Southern Sea Adventures as I know they run kayak tours in NC, but they wont rent me a kayak for some solo paddling, which is the only thing I am interested in. So has anyone seen them for hire, maybe in a hotel or elsewhere? Isle of pines or the loyalties would be ideal, but anywhere will do.
