Most economical flight route from Noumea to Samoa (Apia) HELP?

Hi All,

There seems to be alot of knowledge in this forum and I was wondering what would be the most economical flight route from New Caledonia to Samoa (return ticket)?

I will be on a job in Kone for up to 6months. Its a fly in/ fly out job, so I fly in to New Cal for 5 weeks, and I get 1 week off. My Girlfriend is currently working in Samoa, and I am planning on spending time with her in Samoa for the 1 week off work.

I would much appreciate any help or direction I could get.

There don't appear to be any direct flights, which is fairly typical of Pacific counties. However, you should be able to do the trip via Nadi, Fiji. It would probably involve 2 different airlines, and would depend which days which airlines fly the routes.
Air Calin does Noumea to Nadi. Air Pacific does Nadi to Apia. However, there may be others.

yeah, thanks for that. i've managed to find 2 other possible routes:

1 - Noumea to Nadi, and Nadi to Apia (Air Pacific)
2 - Noumea to Sydney (Qantas and Air Calin) , and Sydney to Apia (Virgin Samoa or Polynesian Blue)
3 - Noumea to Auckland (Air NZ) , and Auckland to Apia (Air NZ)

I'm yet to find out the flight costs, but it seems to me that option 2 might be the cheapest b/c flights are daily between between Noumea and Sydney. Please let me know if i'm wrong or if there are better options.
