Paying with credit card and also location of ATMs outside of Noumea

I have hired a car and will be driving to Kone, Hienghene, Pondimie and Bourail. Are there ATMs where I can withdraw cash in these towns, using VISA or Mastercard? I have booked accommodation and paid in advance, but if I eat in hotel restaurants, will they accept a credit card for payment? Otherwise, I guess I will have to take a lot of cash out in Noumea before I venture inland?
