Rooms at the Noumea hostel - are they as spartan as they look online?

Have been trying to decide whether or not to stay at the hostel in Noumea - from what I can see it has good prices, location and lots of good reviews. But from looking at the web site (http://yhanoumea.lagoon.nc/en/hostel.htm) the rooms are completely bare - a double bed...and that's it! It looks very bare and uncomfortable. Obviously I know it's a hostel but surely there's something else in the room?

Anyone stayed in one of the double rooms that can comment?
