USING MASTERCARD AND CIRRUS IN NEW CALEDONIA

Hallo,
i will be in new caledonia next december and would like to know if it is easy to use my Mastercard and Cirrus/Maestro mainly in noumea.

Not sure about Cirrus but I was OK using Master and Visa.
It is a very developed place so I'd expect that at least in Noumea any major cards can be used.

All the card types which you have mentioned above are accepted in most places of Noumea. Its a famous and as well developed place. For more info on card acceptance you can check few hotels or the card vendor websites to get the info on it so it wont be a incontinence for you.

You can use both of those card types easily in Noumea, but outside Noumea make sure you carry cash. For example, on Lifou there used to be just one ATM and it wasn't working when I visited in 2006.
