Vegetarian meals in New Caledonia/Noumea

Hi,

My partner and I are planning on spending around 10 days in New Caledonia later in the year. Mostly Noumea and Ile Des Pins.
When we travelled in Paris a few years ago we found it difficult to find decent vegetarian food when eating out. (Baguette and cheese is great, but some variety is nice.)

Just wondering whether most restaurants at least offer a vegetarian dish or two, or whether we should be prepared to not eat out and do our own thing?
