Wheelchair friendly accommodation in Noumea

Hi, I am looking to find wheelchair friendly accommodation in Noumea. My husband uses a wheelchair and cannot walk but of course we still want to travel! We would need to have a wheelchair accessible bathroom as well of course.

Does anyone have any information they could share re this area as I am finding it very difficult to find anything even through a travel agent. Apart from changing agents I would really like to hear from anyone with a similar situation - even with a disabled child as it really a very similar experience.

We just don't believe that differently abled people should be limited to their own lounge room!
