Continental is offering a reasonable fare from the U.S. to Palau!Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Palau
I just found $947 plus about $75 tax from LAX and $1102 plus $76 tax from Newark (EWR). The dates I checked were 2/1 - 3/3 from LAX and 9/7 - 10/7 from EWR. PERMITTED 07JAN THROUGH 18MAY OR 05SEP THROUGH 17NOV ON Amazing!
Wow! That is amazing. We have been thinking of heading to Indonesia next Sept for the great snorkeling to be found there( as well as the unique culture) but now you have me rethinking. Maybe we could combine it with Fiji as Continental is now flying into Nadi from Guam. Decisions, decisions. What is Palau like in September for snorkeling? It was great in February! | 1
Great. The old climate rules don't apply since global warming. That is an attractive price and I need to think quick before it doubles again! | 2
Dare I ask why the odd dates? | 3
You mean the dates I checked? Just random. I was on flyertalk where they had unearthed a pretty decent mileage run fare from Philly to Manila via the Island Hopper (though after the first stopover there were charges for people who actually wanted to get off the plane, not just collect miles). I then checked what a flight to Kosrae would be (still high) and Palau (reasonable). | 4
