Dive vacation - stay in hotel or diving cruise?

Hi,

Me and a friend will visit Palau during Christmas. We want to dive and snorkel 5 or more days and wonder what is better: dive cruise (staying overnight on the bost) or diving package with hotel accomondation?

All recommendations - also for overnight kayaking tours welcome!

I'm planning a dive trip to Palau and PNG in May. I saw your post and wanted to ask if you enjoyed your trip and if you could recommend where/who you went diving with in both countries? I'm planning a big trip on my own and could use your tips!
