Divemaster Course in Palau

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Palau

I guess there are a few divers reading this so here goes! I am wanting to go through a PADI Divemaster course in Palau, for two reasons.
First being its a very good marine environment and secondly I would happily work for very little afterwards if a centre would take me on?? I dont know what you divers know about doing courses and then getting work with the provider of the course. But I did think the chances of getting any paid work would be more likely through this route!
I was going to sign up with Fish and Fins for this as they seem quite respected there.

Any input welcome! :-)

Hi Billy,

Fish and Fin's are good and well respected. Sam's Tours would be another option and probably your best bet for getting hired on afterward. They have a high turnover of 'western' guides who seem to do the same thing. They are by far the biggest operation in Palau. You probably won't get paid much (or at all) but the diving is great.
Another option to look into may be Neco Marine - another smaller place but high quality guiding and teaching.
