driving in palau

i have a japanese drivers license. if i wanted to rent a motocycle or a 4x4, do i need an international license to rent?

what are the main places that rent to tourists and how much is it per day? thanks.

You do not need an international license to rent a car - the one you have should be fine. I don't think there are motorcycles available for rent but maybe a 4x4. We rented a small car for 3 days for about $130(2009 rates) - there are the usual car rental companies but we used the local company, ARJ Car Rental(sorry I don't have their number). You will find that some of the cars will have the steering wheel on the right while others will be on the left, so make sure you indicate which type you want when you book your rental.
