Mosquitos?

Going soon. Just wondering what the mosquito situation is in Palau? I'm used to tropical SE Asia, but just seeing if anyone has heard about Dengue or Malaria there? How diligent do I need to be when out at night in Korer?

No malaria as far as I know but dengue outbreaks occur. I don't recall Palau being particularly buggy or getting bitten, but a lot of it is swamp so you'd be wise to take some DEET.
