Palau in September

What is the weather like in palau in September?

I have looked at weather charts and it seems to be fairly consistent in rainfall all year round. I was originally planning a kayaking trip there in November but this is now not possible, so september is the only other time I can go. Should this stop me from going?

To get a sense of what the weather might be like in September have a look at wunderground.com - type in Koror, Caroline Islands(original name) and scroll down the page to find the section on past weather history. You can check out what it was like in September going back quite a few years. It will give you a read out hour to hour of the weather for a particular date, showing temperature and rainfall. You should be able to get a general idea of what you might expect at that time of the year. It is definitely a special place to visit and well worth the effort to get there!

I've paddled in French Polynesia with showers 1-2 hours daily which didn't disturb me.
Everything corrodes and gets mouldy and your wet shoes will get smelly but it'll happen even with no rain, just because of the high humidity.

I was however able to collect quite some drinking water to supplement the coconut milk, which was very nice as many small islands and atolls don't have any water.
