Palau weather in May?

Hi Thorntree'ers -
Does anyone know if May is a good month to visit Palau -- is that already into the rainy season, or is the weather still mostly sunny?
(Yes, I know that it rains there a lot there during any month, but have been told that some months are a complete washout)?

It used to be that the weather was rather more regular than it is now. sometimes it can be quite rainy, but then again.....I guess my real answer is that anytime is a great time to visit Palau. If is rare that the rain continues for days on end. Won't say it doesn't happen but it is not usual. But sadly with cilimate changes the old rules no longer apply.
