travel from palau to FSM? like chuuk? yap? is it possible?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Palau

hey there:

i was wondering, should one be inclined, how is inter-island travel from palau to places like chuuk? or kosrae?

are there flights? are they fairly easy to get? on short notice?

thank you all,
-h

Yes. Yap is a non-stop, change in Guam for the others.
Only one airline, Continental, services the route. Flights are several times a week. The biggest challenge, unless you have One Pass FF miles, will be the very high fares.

what are one pass FF miles?

Continental Air Mironesia one pass is a fixed price to and from several Micronesian Islands. FF refers to frequent flyer miles presumably on Continental or one of its miles partners.

OnePass is the name of Continental airlines frequent flyer program.

Right you are Silvanocat, I was thinking of Continental's circle Micronesia Pass, which may or may not still be around. Thanks for the clarification.
