Weather in palau

How is the weather in Palau? Looks raining everyday according to the web

Is it rainy part of the day and sunny the rest of the day?

I went to Palau for 4 days about a month ago. The day before I left I became very disappointed after checking the weather report and seeing it was supposed to rain for 10 days straight!

In reality, in the 4 days, it rained pretty hard one afternoon and a couple times overnight, but other than that it was sunny/partly cloudy and about 2% of those clouds contained rain so you might see a small storm on the horizon but it was perfectly sunny where you are. Some locals said this was typical weather.

I think they generally just cut and paste the weather forecast from day to day for Palau. I lived there for over two years and ever single day the forecast called for rain even when there hadn't been a shower in weeks and there was a mini drought. Pretty much every day of the year is the same, hot, humid, some rain in the late afternoon or at night. There are very few days when it rains all day long.
