working and living in palau..

hello all,
hoping to skip the winter and be off to palau.can anyone inform me whether low budget travelling is possible in palau (as opposed to,say,thailand and such)? also,as a diving instructor,can i just get there and come across work?,assuming i'll be travelling there in mid december.any suggestions and recommedations would be much obliged..

Palau is such a small place that traveling is not a big issue IN Palau.Where are you thinking of going? Getting to other islands is generally not cheap. Getting there is more of a problem of course. You might consider writing to the dive groups and see if they are in need of anyone over the holidays- some of their divers like to go off home for the holidays.
