youth hostels

tried googling youth hostels but didnt really come up with a whole lot of hits.

can anyone recommend any youth hostels or guesthouses theyve stayed at recently. thanks

There are no youth hostels in Koror, Palau.

If you are traveling solo, the cheapest place to stay is Antelope Marine Club on Makati Island at $25 (see more on this in my post "Palau Tips") from a few days ago. I would stay there again, and it is most frequented by Japanese tourists (looks like you might be too). These are "Diver rooms" with shared bath but are super clean and have air conditioning, a small refrigerator, and suprisingly good view.

There are also motels in the downtown for about $50 a night for a double.
