Accommodation & PMVs

Any suggestions for budget accommodation in Port Moresby, Lae, Goroka and Mt Hagan?

Also, is it possible to get an MPV all the way from Mt Hagan to Lae in one day, particularly a Saturday or Sunday as I believe there are less available on weekends?

Any info on these will be useful as there's not a lot out there!

Budget accommodation: here are some suggestions, but unfortunately accomm in png is never cheap.
Port Moresby: Comfort Inn is medium price, close to a supermarket, has airport transfers if you need; staff are helpful and friendly, good food and a pool. (Volunteers often stay here)
Lae: Unitech Guesthouse (bit out of town, need to catch a pmv)
Goroka: Lutheran Guesthouse (central location, might be a curfew)
Hagen: there is a guesthouse in town, but i don't know what it's called. Ask around, people would know. or check lonely planet.

PMV: you can do it in one day, but it is a very long, uncomfortable trip. the pmvs leave very early from hagen market; miss that and you miss your chance, make sure you are early too. get in to lae mid-afternoon - but prepare for some crazy driving.

I'm looking around the 70-80 kina price range. Do your recommendations fit?

Also, do the pmv's operate as frequently on Saturdays and Sundays as they do on weekdays? This information is critical as I have to get from Hagen to Lae to catch a flight on a Sunday afternoon.

In Lae: Lae Guest House. it is not in the LP. it is located very conveniently, very close to the center, south of the main market, opposite the brewery (producing the excellent SP Beer). the single room was 50 kina, with AC more expensive.
in Goroka: National Sports Institute, prices below 50 kina, I dont remember exactly.
in Hagen: Lutheran Guesthouse, single room around 70 kina, including breakfast
I went from Hagen to Lae in one day on Sunday, arriving around 4pm
