ATM/Credit Cards In PNG

Hello All,

Do PNG ATM's accept debit cards on the Cirrus and Maestro networks? Do the ATM's accept Visa cards to withdraw money?

you can also use an australian westpac visa debit ATM card with cheque at BSP and Westpac ATMs

I had no trouble with ANZ Visa cards in 2006 in POM and Mt. Hagen. However I tried to pay as much as possible from home before leaving, so I didn't have to carry too much cash.

I used a US bank's debit card, with VISA logo, without problems last summer. But I only used a couple or three different ATMs.
