Just spent a month diving mainly wreck in PNG - Rabaul - Tufi - Kavieng - Three Island Harbour & Moresby

Other than Kabiara (Rabaul) & Tufi (Tufi Dive Resort) I foundmy own accommodation

Any info you need from these specific destinations - let me know

I'll be back at my desk Thursday

So if you had to choose a couple of those places for diving, which would you recommend?
On a bit of a budget and would love as much variety as possible.
Cheers,

I'd definitely say Rabaul wins hands down.

It has both reef & wreck & a potentially great muck dive under the jetty - but you have to do it at night as they fish off it during daylight hours & you'l get snagged.

Rabaul also has aazing topside history & topography.

Tufi has backpackers but poor quality & the nice rooms are a bit expensive - but the service & food there is top notch. You wouldn't get wreck, but the reef is very good.

Kavieng would be a cheaper option with reef & wreck diving

Moresby you'd really need to be crackers for as the acommodation there is pretty expensive - although I got a good room rate of K150 at Ela Beach Lodge & dove with Dive Centre out of Airways hotel.

But as I said, start with Rabaul & dive & stay with Kabaira,
