Changing money - getting Kina

I'll be flying from Cairns to Moresby on a Sunday, flying on to Hagen the same day, and will need to make some large-ish Kina payments in cash when I arrive in Hagen - so I'll need Kina when I arrive on that Sunday. I'm pretty sure that no banks on open in Hagen on Sunday.
Therefore, does anyone know if the
- Cairns airport currency exchange is open on Sat. afternoon (i.e. after 14:00)?
- Jacksons airport currency exchange is open on Sunday, at all?

I have been through Cairns airport a few times and am pretty sure you will be able to change money there on a Saturday. I exchanged in Sydney airport my last trip though so can't say for sure. There is an ATM in the airport at Port Moresby (right after you go through passport control) so you can definitely draw money, although if you're wanting a large amount of cash this may be a problem.

your best bets are the atms at jacksons airport or at many atms outside banks in mt hagen(westpac,anz,bsp)the banks will not be open sunday.
