District Administrative Headquarters

Hi,

I know that TT'ers are a wealth of information and knowlegde so am hoping someone can help me with this one.

For my work I need to know the name of the towns that are the 'administrative headquarters' of each of PNG's 89 districts. I have alistiong of the Districts, but not the towns that are where the headquarters are loctaed.

My first port of call was the Department for Provincial Givernement and Local Level Government, thinking they would just have a list that could be handed over the counter. But no, I had to get the Secretary of my Department write to the Secretary of that Department requesting this info. That has happened, but of course the request has got lost in the bureacracy and no one wants to help.

Then I tried a Google search and checked legislation and lots of sites to no avail.

So am hoping that some very resourceful person out there might know where I might get this listing of what should be public and readily available info. From past experience I am sure that someone will know where this info can be obtained from what in hindsight is a very obvious source.

Thanks to PNGManqi I now have 86 of the 89 administrative headquarters.

I knew someone out there would have this info.
