Guide recommendations

Hi fellow travellers,

I'm travelling as single woman in Papua New Guinea so I'm looking for recommendations on guides - could also be guides providing group tours.

It would have been awesome to join forces on the tours but unfortunately I'm going the last week of August.

I hope you find other fellow travellers for some of your days down there.

Would either of you mind sharing your experiences of PNG travelling as a single woman? I would be fascinated to know how safe you felt! I have done all my travelling alone and usually am not fazed but have heard some stories about PNG. I am inclined not to believe them but would love a first hand account!
