Guides/Tour Company Recommendations

I am planning a trip to PNG in late September/early October. Does any one have any experience with PNG Value Tours, PNG Eco Tours, or the villagehuts website? I have read mixed reviews about PNG Value Tours and would like to support a local operator directly (as opposed to paying a company based outside of PNG who then subcontracts) which is what lead me to the villagehuts website and ultimately PNG Eco Tours. However I can not find reviews with regards to travel experience/reliability of PNG Eco Tours and villagehuts.

I would like to climb Mt. Wilhelm and scuba dive for a few days, and originally intended to plan a trip involving climbing Mt Wilhelm, trekking to Madang, and then scuba diving in Madang, but I have heard some conflicting information with regards to the safety of trekking from Mt Wilhelm to Madang (even with a guide) and some information that seems to suggest there are better spots to pick for diving other then Madang.

Any advice relating to tour operators/guides or safety of the trek/quality of diving in Madang would be much appreciated!
