Kaveing - Surf & Dive

Planning 15 days in New Ireland/Kaveing to surf and dive. Nusa Island Retreat looks like a good choice. Has anyone been out on the Tiki Tu? Wondering how the experience is on a small boat for a weeks time - is it worth it to do the boat for a week and then the island/dive for another week? Any good advise for village exploration and art in the islands up in that area?

was in New Ireland Province last year and can't wait to get back to PNG. Nusa Island is awesome and they can give you heaps of advice if you drop them a line or email. Village wize a trip down the east coast is a good one and can be done in two to three days.
Art wize there is a good amount of stuff at Nusa (Shaun's a hoarder!) but you buy from the source further down the main island, master carver's name escapes me. Friends who were there last month said the amount of stuff suitable for easy air transfer was limited.
