Any suggestions for decent guides/companies/carriers/prices for Kokoda trail trekking starting from Ower's Corner?

I did a trip with Ecotourism Melanesia and they were great.

We do treks from Owers Corner but our most popular treks go from Kokoda and head south to Owers Corner. I am curious as to why you would want start from Owers when the "most significant historical events chronoligically went from Kokoda to Owers!?!

Our 2011 prices for 10 day Kokoda expeditions are:
Australian led Kokoda $3,490 (this includes an Australian guide as well as our local porters where you will get the history from an Australian and all the Track and country information from out PNG porters)

Locally led $2,700 (your PNG porters will get you safely from one end to the other. You will also receive a copy of Bill Jame's "Kokoda Field Guide" to help you understand the history as you go.)
