Local guides in Goroka

Hi,

I'm starting my trip to PNG in a week and I'll be in Goroka and later from wewak to upper sepik.

I only have a couple days in Goroka and I'm looking for nice villages close by to visit during the day. Can be Asaro, but not mandatory to have the touristy mud preparations.

Does anyone have good recommendations on a local guide in Goroka and their phone contacts?

I have now been to Asaro and seen the mudmen show. I strongly recommend Tiger man as a guide to visit Asaro (phone: 7254 3336), since he is actually from the village. You will handle your money locally.
