Lorengau!

Hi,
I soon will stay some days in Lorengau. Has anyone been there to give me some information. What can you do there? How safe is it?

how did it go?
I'm looking at going in the winter and have the same questions, did you feel safe? was not speaking the local langue a problem. where did you stay? how did you get around the place? anything else you can tell me?

All went fine. It is just really a shabby place. Hotel and food is terrible. There is not much to see and on the weekend after six it feels that everyone is drunken.....completely drunken. But I never felt unsafe....would I go again? No sure not. Liked Kavieng and Rabaul much more.
