Money in PNG

Hi so i am heading to Daru and wondering if there is an atm there or shall i take cash, If there is an ATM does any one know which bank it is attached to.

also wondering about Tabubil and Kiunga where ok tedi mine is do they have a bank or atm in that area.

I'm living and working in Tabubil and there are ATMs here. Westpac and BSP (Bank of South Pacific). Kiunga I believe there are ATMs but not entirely sure. I know there is an airport and a few other major facilities so I'd imagine so. As for Duru, I don't know but it's a reasonable large town from what I hear so I won't be surprised if there was an ATM.

As for your trip I'd be keen to hear how it turns out and where you went. I'm looking at travelling PNG myself.
