National Mask Festival- Kokopo

Hello All,

Do I need to pre-book accommodation for the National Mask Festival in Kokopo(New Britain) or can I just show up and find lodging?

Has anyone been to the Mask Festival in Kokopo- what did you think?

Also, has anyone been to the Malagan show in New Ireland- is that worth making time for?
