Papua New Guinea Map for Jungle Trekking?

Dear all,

I'm planning on a one month solo trek through the jungles in the southern half of PNG.

I was hoping that someone may be able to recommend a good map for this region? Preferably topographical and showing any trails, recent with a scale of at least 1:100,000, preferably 1:50,000.

I really don't think such maps exist.
Solo jungle trekking is not a realistic option in most of New Guinea - be prepared to hire local guides who know the often faint and invariably unmarked trails even without a map.
