PNG - Fraudulent case PNG Holidays/Benajmin Nikints

Hi,
I posted a warning 2 years ago in regards to people booking travel and tours with "PNG Holidays" and PNG "Festivals" run by a PNG Benjamin Nikints who with his wife are running a huge fraudulent enterprise in Australia and PNG. Some of you contacted me to unite and bring him to charges... after over a yr - the consulate, embassy in US, Italy, Australia and PNG and other agencies in PNG have been unsuccessfull (more like 'unwilling') to take action.

If you are one of those folks who lost $$ with these companies... i urge to contact me at lillie62peru@sbcglobal and contactgray@optusnet.com.au... it appears the PNG Tourism is FINALLY taking care of matters and they are/will be confiscating properties and recuperating monies - thus the possibility of recuperating our deposits.

This company is in no way, shape or form connected to PNG Holidays in Australia. The owners of this company are Australian and have not had any dealings with, or know about anyone called Benjamin Nikints. PNG Holidays is part of BLT (QLD) Pty Ltd, and has been in operation for 18 years.

THE IMPOSSIBLE DID HAPPEN...after FOUR years... yes... four long years.... we have received a REFUND! Thanks to this forum - we were able to identify 6 people whom Benjamin Nikints and wife Diane Obedi took $$ and provide no tour services for a visit to Papua New Guinea.

On Monday, August 30th, 2010 - we all received our refunds:
- Andrea from Italy $4950US
- Frances from Australia $3000US
- Otto from Nederlands $1900 US
- Michael from US $2800n- Lynn from US $1200 and myself for $1200

We are awaiting to be invited by the PNG Tourist Board for a vacation in 2011. All is good! Thanks to this community for coming forward and assisting in getting a financial results from what appeared an impossible task. Cheers!

I have traveled with Ben's company Niugini Eco Tourism,and the whole trip was perfect from the beginning to the end. I did sightseeing around Mt Hagen area, trekked to the top of Mt Hagen and Mt Wilhelm.Ben and his staff couldn't have been better. PNG is not the easiest place to travel,but they all did a wonderful job. I left very satisfied,
