What guide book are people using to plan and prepare a trip for PNG? I need some sort of background info.... | ||
Most people surely use the latest "PNG and Solomon Islands" LP guide, as it is the only guidebook in print. Sadly, it is far from brilliant - you might consider buying a 2nd hand copy of the last edition of LP's PNG guide (without the Solomons) that has much more detail and more background info. The last edition of LP's Bushwalking in PNG is also great, with excellent cultural info for visitors to remote areas. | 1 | |
yes, you don't have much choice. LP is the only guide there is. The last edition is a bit patchy but the current edition is all good. | 2 | |
