PNG visa in Jayapura or KL

I plan to travel to PNG next summer at the end of a 10 month asia trip and have the oppurtunity to get a PNG visa in Kuala Lumpur when I apply for a 2 month indonesian visa or I can get it in Jayapura. Are there any pros or cons to each place? I'm leaning towards the KL option.

would go for the kl option,jayapura consul can be messy and takes too long.

Yeah, try first in KL, and if no luck (they may not give you a visa without a RT ticket to PNG) allow at least a week to sort it out in JYP.

Yes, try at KL first. You can probably get a visa in Jayapura, but it may take a while and there isn't much to do there....
